“Torino-Ceres” line new link to the italian rail network under grosseto avenue, with underground station

The work, which is a strategic infrastructure for the city of Turin, consists of an artificial tunnel that runs mainly in a straight line along the Corso Grosseto route, between Largo Grosseto and Parco Sempione, connected to the existing sections of the two railways to be connected, the one to the west, belonging to the Turin-Ceres railway, coming at a buried level from Via Confalonieri, and the one to the east, belonging to the Turin railway link, which leads directly into the Rebaudengo station.
The work includes, schematically, the following works:
- displacement of existing utilities; of particular importance is the resolution of interference with SMAT sewers;
- demolition of the Largo Grosseto Overpass;
- construction of the Railway Tunnel;
- construction of the new Grosseto Stop in the market area;
- connection with the rail link at Rebaudengo Station;
- construction of the Potenza-Grosseto vehicular underpass (Largo Grosseto);
- new surface arrangement of Corso Grosseto and Largo Grosseto.
