On March 10, 2025, a joint inspection was held between the project management, the contractors, and AIPO to confirm the completion of the works related to Sheet 6 – Line M, as part of the PNRR M2C4 – Investment 3.3 “Renaturation of the Po River Area” program, funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. The project, commissioned by AIPo (Interregional Agency for the Po River), was managed by Ai Engineering srl, with the works carried out by Adige Strade srl and subcontracted to TMG SpA. The total cost of the project was €2,700,000.
The intervention involved modifying the existing riverbank defense works along the Po River, aimed at increasing flooding frequency and promoting a morphological balance in the area. Additionally, a 1.3 km earth channel was constructed to reconnect the existing floodplain areas, enhancing environmental management and strengthening the ecological resilience of the region. This project marks a significant step forward in the protection of the environment and the enhancement of natural heritage.
