On Friday 11 April, from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Circolo dei Lettori in Torino, Ai Engineering will take part, with arch. Carlo Micono, at the conference ‘Environmental protection through sustainability and efficiency in modern construction’, organised by Studio Legale Dal Piaz and the Order of Engineers of the Province of Torino in collaboration with the Order of Architects, Planners, Landscapers, Conservators of Torino and the Foundation for Architecture Torino.
The speakers will address topical issues in the field of contemporary sustainable building, related to the urban regeneration of important disused areas (Prof. Ing. Giuseppe Ferro), the recovery of important buildings (such as the Turin Exhibition Centre: Arch. Saverio Isola), the use of international protocols for the certification of building sustainability (Arch. Carlo Micono), and sustainable construction techniques (Arch. Marco Giuggia).
The occasion will also include the award ceremony for the 2024 edition of the National Prize Prof. Avv. Claudio Dal Piaz, the theme of which was ‘Environmental protection and sustainability in energy and construction’.
